Psychological Associates Inc. is dedicated to providing effective treatment and information regarding emotional and mental health disorders. We take your privacy seriously and only collect the information necessary to deliver the services or information you request.

We collect personally identifiable information to provide services and enhance your experience with our website. Specifically, we may collect:
a) Contact Information: When you send us an email or message (e.g., your name and email address).
b) Self-Test Data: When you complete a self-test or quiz, your responses are collected to score the test and provide results during in-office consultations. We will not send test results via email.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to:
a) Deliver the services or resources you request.
b) Communicate with you about your appointments, inquiries, or treatment plans.
c) Notify you of updates to our services, if applicable.

Note: Clicking on links or advertisements that redirect you to third-party websites may result in those third parties collecting your information under their privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external websites you visit.

3. SMS Communication

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages related to appointment reminders, updates, or other necessary communications. You can opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to any message or contacting us directly. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier.

To comply with U.S. and regional privacy laws, you have the right to:
a) Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising or certain third-party data processing. Use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the bottom of this page to exercise this right.
b) Access or delete your personal data, subject to legal exceptions.

While we strive to protect your privacy, no system is completely secure. We may disclose your personal information:

a) At this website, your personally identifiable information is collected from you when you use the website to perform certain tasks, such as:

i) When you post or send email to us (such as your name and email address).

iv) When you take a self-test or quiz we collect your responses in order to score your tests and give you the results in our office. We will not send you the results of any tests by email. 

2. Our Use of Your Information. We only use the information we collect to provide you with the services on our website that you request.

d) When you click on links and/or ad banners that take you to third-party websites, the third party may collect information about you at their Website. The third party may have its own privacy policies that differ from ours. We encourage you to read the posted privacy statement whenever interacting with any website you visit.

e) To comply with US State privacy laws and and certain regional privacy laws, you have the right to opt out of the sharing or selling of your personal information for targeted advertising and for certain kinds of third party data processing. If you do not want your information shared in this way, please refer to our ‘Do not sell or share my personal information’ link at the foot of this page below.

5. Limitations. Though we make every effort to preserve your privacy, we cannot guarantee your privacy. Further, we may disclose personal information when required by law or where we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on us. We may also disclose personal information in cooperation with a law enforcement request.

6. Data Access and Erasure.  In some jurisdictions, you may request copies of your personal information or request that your personal information be deleted. Data deletion requests are subject to certain exceptions: for example, if your data is necessary to comply with legal obligations. To exercise your rights, please send a request via email to Smuncy@psydoc.com with the subject line “Personal Data Request” that (1) provides sufficient information to allow us to verify that you are the individual or represent the individual about whom we have collected Personal Data, and (2) gives us sufficient information to understand and respond to it. We will work to respond within the mandated time frame.
